Animal Control Law
Synopsis
This Law was first enacted as By-Law D-2 by SOR/77-1054 on September 17, 1964 and later repealed and replaced into its current form by MCR #65/2001-2002 on March 25, 2002. This is a law respecting the control and regulation of animals within the Territory. The Law provide for an Animal Protection Officer to be appointed under the supervision of the Kahnawà:ke Conservation Program.
