The Kahnawà:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission (KLCC) regrets to announce that tomorrow’s (Tuesday) scheduled Hearing on the proposed Kahnawà:ke Tobacco Law is postponed due to the passing of a family member of one of the key proponents of the law.
The postponement was made at the request of the Kahnawake Tobacco Association.
The KLCC wishes to offer its condolences to the affected family, friends and colleagues of the deceased.
A new date will be announced shortly.
