Sanitary Conditions Law
Synopsis
This Law was first enacted by MCR #44/1979-80 on June 13, 1979 and later amended into its current form by MCR #08/2005-2006 on October 17, 2005. This is a law respecting the peace, order, protection and security of persons and property within the Territory. This law establishes the creation of the Kahnawà:ke Peacekeepers, the Peacekeepers Services Board and the Peacekeepers Ethics Committee. The process and procedures for the lodging of formal complaints is contained within the Law.
